EOTD

The look~ sorry for the strained "OPEN, DANGIT!" look to my eye.. hahaha (: woah you can see my contact too, LOL. okay, ugly pic. sorry girls! obtw if i touch my lids too much (depending on the day), i get get this quasi-double fold.. kinda crazy. of course it ends up folding under so.. MEH. MEH, EYE! MEH!

Pics of what I used...

1. maybelline: linen (refound this.. matte highlight! love itt. plus inner corner)

2. NYX: plum (lower lashline for a pop of color)

3. NYX: alaska ("outer crease" area)

4. rimmel: color rush (all over the lid)

PS- Yes, they are all depotted and in my converted MAC palette. I found that when they were all singles, I never touched them! Plus I went on a depotting craze :P

TOOLS:

urban decay "blender" brush.. miss hOLLYANNAEREE thinks this is HUGE.. it is.. but it's so nice, hahaha. i can pat on color, highlight, etc.. wipe it off and blend. i looveeee my MAC 239 to bits but it's WHITE! and gets DIRTY! :(

some off brand "smudge" brush... bought from target. it's a bit rough honestly.. and i only use it for my lower lashline, SOMETIMES to dab a bit of color on the inner corner but that's about it. i used to try to use it for my "crease" but.. meh. rough.

Love the UD brush for my "outer v".. or my entire eye actually, hahaha. I consider it my "lazy" eye brush, just because it's so huge. Thought about doing a video tut but I'm so lazy... plus I'm really starting to think that my P&S cam is quite a bit outdated compared to the rest of ya'lls, hahaha.

V-Day (OOTD + FOTD)

Hello lovelies!

Hope you all had a great Valentines' or SAD (singles' awareness) day.

Quick post about my FOTD and OOTD for the night~

Oh, guess I could post about what we did :P

- His sis was proposed to today x3 so she called and they talked for awhile.

- I got out of bed around 2pm.

- Went to lunch at Anderson's Bakery. Not my fav place to eat but they have awesome desserts. We didn't end up getting desserts (go figure) since it was about 3:30pm :P

- Walked to Blue Bee.. he tried on some jeans and shirts.. left empty handed.

- Home.. chilled.. got ready..

- Went to Epiphany for dinner.. reservation at 6:15.. food was underwhelming for the price (set menu, set price per person). Bf agreed about the underwhelming part.

- Home. OOTD and FOTD pics.

- Blogging.

Overall good day. Glad I got to spend it with my hunnie bunnie sugar lumps x3

Anyway..

Tried using the Kate Deep Trap palette from SongLing but it ended up being OTT shimmery and would not hold its pigmentation (maybe I need to try a different base? I was using a MAC paintpot)..

So I added some Stila, NYX and MAC shadows. Used a Sephora brand eyeliner, seems to hold up but I haven't been wearing it for long. No mascara. Oh and I highlighted with a Maybelline eyeshadow. Whew! So many brands :P

Soo.. this is.. pinky/purple.. with some gold.

Had a mix of MAC Dubonnet and Freckletone on my lips.. made a kind of reddish pink, it was nice :) I had put on Dubonnet first then thought it was too much with the eyes. Of course by the time I took this, the lipstick had worn off. Whooops. You get the idea though.

The flash totally negated my eyeshadow. Oh well.

FOTD

Wheeee! So, I couldn't stand logging onto my page and seeing that horribly mismatched foundation pic.. SO.. yes. You guys get a scheduled post--NOW! :P

So.... well, as we were about to leave, I scrubbed it off my face and went with my concealer+powder duo and put on some eyeshadow and lipstick :) sooo I decided to take a pic of my face.

This is my FACE that I wore to the bf's bday dinner.. just the two of us.. drove 30 min down to Oxnard to eat at BJ's Brewery.. one of his fav places in the WORLD.. he is totally obsessed with the avocado egg rolls and the oreo pizookie.

Too lazy to color correct.. so.. these may be too dark.. too bright.. just deal with it :) haha.

Used the Lancome palette described in THIS post. I took these pics after we got home.. so.. the color faded a bit, but not too much. Forgot to use a base again.. I need to get on that D: gah! Anyway, you'll be able to see better color rep from later pics.

Oh, and I forgot to use mascara or curl my lashes. Need to get on that too! Gargh!

I always have trouble getting him to have natural smiles in pics.. seriously it takes me 10 pics to get 1 good one.. hahahaa. So, this is usually his "smile".. awkward.. he's gonna be annoyed with me if he sees this pic up :P but I liked how I looked so..

FOTD?!

Well, sort of :P I used the Lancome palette that I posted about a little while ago. Man, for being a photographer, I really suck at taking pictures of my EOTD's. Anyway, enough of you girls asked for a FOTD/EOTD.. so.. here ya go! :P

My eyes also decided to fold in and give me a sort of double lid. But hey, you can kind of see the blue/green on my lower lid! :P

You can't really see any of the colors.. so.. I don't think I'm going to bother to describe my application. Hmm, I think this is one of the reasons why I want to get a new point and shoot, hahaha. Mine's kindaaaa old.

I did use mascara (for once)! Quite obvious, sorry about the black specks on my eyelids, I forgot to apply with a post-it :(

Lashes, lashes, more lashes. I may actually do a post about them later, if anyone's interested. As for now, I'm tired and too lazy to look up what I used :P but I know I *did* get it from Katie (xiaokai-bbyxkt) if anyone wants to look back at that post (where I got that huuuuuuge love pack from her). I was going to take pictures for comparison but I was already running late(ish).

Ah, but hey! Lookie, double lid! And I didn't use a base (forgot) sooo.. you can also see the creasing--this was pretty soon after application, too. Damn having oily lids.

Aaaand.. now, for the rest of my face! Plus the bf's face :)

* which I'm afraid, may be a liiiiittle too light for me.. you can't really tell in pictures, but.. I don't know. It definitely looked a little bit too light.. but that may have been light fall-off. Who knows.

Got all jazzed up.. to go get pho with a middle school friend and his girlfriend. Ah, it was a fun double date.. and pho is delicioussss in the middle of all this cold and rain! NOODLE CITY, if any of you are in Santa Barbara :) off Fairview, on Hollister.
