more aimlessness

SO.. seeing as i'm posting mainly about clothes lately.. why not keep up the trend? :D seeing as i've been LAZY as HEEEEELL with my face (besides morningly skincare routine which lasts about.. 5 minutes.. and an ALL OVER body lotion session. gotta take care of my skin!) which means NO MAKE UP which means.. nothing to post about, makeup-wise :D oh i know, that was such a far-off connection/deduction/etc. 

ho hum.

anyways.. so.. of course, AFTER i buy my forever21 stuff, as i'm browsing around online (i've subscribed to SO MANY makeup/fashion blogs it's ridiculous! thanks google reader!), i find MORE cute stuff.. but at this point, i think i can wait for one of their sales. i HOPE the item/s still stay there, but if not.. i'll post 'em up here so at least i can imagine having them... 

well, i would BUT.. of course, their website decides to stop working--okay, wtf? it just started working again.

plaid-ish flats? cute. i dunno about the weird zipper looking thing but i'm sure i could get over it, if i were to ever buy these.. which i doubt.. mostly because i'm too in love with my red flats i just bought :) tehee. OH! i dropped them off at aldo to get them stretched--i don't even have to break them in!! (thank GOODNESS because i wore them for about 30 minutes and my feet were kiiiiiilling me! i don't know what it was!).

wide sash belts are cute :) plus the material looks soft-ish. always a plus. 

not the coolest tshirt but i think the random design looks cool. of course i don't know what the design IS so it might not be as cool as i think. plus it has pink on it xP bleh!

beeecause i like grey, black, racerbacks and stripes. dunno about the cowl neck though.. reminds me too much of my 8th grade promotion dance dress. xP bleh!

CUTE. however, i don't know how long it is (i really need to measure how long my torso is..)

it just looks so cute on that model.. plus i have short hair too! couldn't it look at least half as good on me as it does on her? maybe? but i'm not a huge fan of built-in spaghetti straps. HMM.. i'm sure i'll survive, if i ever do decide to purchase it (where's my effing 15% coupon??).

AMERICAN APPAREL
simple, very versatile. i dunno though, i usually don't like the fit of most AA stuff. 

and i think i hear some neighbors outside hitting on each other.. via their dogs interacting. HMM.. this place is interesting indeed. there are so many people outside! it's so weird. it's usually never this loud. maybe some new people moved in and i just didn't notice (sort of hard, but then again we don't go outside all that often unless we have to, we're some special kind of lazy).. 

um.. let's see. since this IS a blog about ME.. i guess i should at least update a little ;P 

i've been sort of slacking on the 11pm-8am thing.. today i woke up at 10am.. and i blame it on bryant! usually he's awake so when he's not my heat source, i usually can wake up pretty much on time.. but he stayed in bed today. AND i've been sleeping a little later, mostly because.. i don't know. i guess i just spend so much time browsing the net that i just lose track of time.. or something. weird, eh? when you look up at the clock and think, "holy shit?!".. then.. it's time to.. i dunno. get a life or something ;P 

i've been trying to schedule a time to shoot w/ kelli (remember her from one of my previous posts?) and she said she'd call but she hasn't, so i texted her (in case she was in class) and.. still no response! i dunno :\ i'm also helping her out by giving her tips on monoblocs (lighting equipment). THIS ES NO BUENO! :( and we have FOUR assignments due on sunday, not only 3.. ah, well. i guess i'll just brainstorm, and if i can't get her to model.. then.. yea. i dunno. 

OH! and the dishes got done. i finally just.. got sick and tired of seeing so many dishes that i was moving dishes around in the sink (sort of loudly, not really on PURPOSE) and.. TA DAAAH! the boyfriend shows up and starts doing them for me! what a sweetheart :) :) :) i was so happy that i hugged him for about.. oh i dunno.. 5 minutes while he was washing dishes.. then decided that he couldn't stack dishes in correctly (in order to maximize space of the dish dryer thing) so i started wiping dishes. the whole process must've taken about 30 minutes (he says 45). but i was SO HAPPY! :) i even made him lunch without any sort of grumble, pretend or real ;P hahah. 

aaand.. i've been using the laptop.. basically.. all the time. partly because i never really liked where the computer is in the bedroom and partly because blake needs a mouse so i lent him mine and decided to just.. use the laptop. i took it back on sunday to edit my stuff and turn it in but lent it to him again. maybe i'll get him a mouse for an early birthday present. 

what i really should be doing with my money is to put some in a ROTH and $100 towards my website. actually. i think i'll do that now.. the website part at least. get the money sent, then start bugging them to actually set it up.. then.. i'll probably have LOTS less time 'cause i gotta sift through pictures and decide which ones i want to put up, which will probably make me dissatisfied with my work and want to take new ones which is ALWAYS GOOD! :) 

hmm.. i got lost in looking through bludomain sites (where i already put down $100.. but i might be in love with another site! oh noes! must find the original site i was looking at and compare!).

ordered stuff off of forever21.com.. and as it turns out, i've ordered something from them 5 times (this time included) since october. WEIRD. i guess they just have awesome stuff :) so i haves me cuzz's present! not what i originally planned but after conferring with some other people.. decided with this current gift. i will have it WELL before your birthday (late march), hurrah! also boughts me a pencil skirt and a nice top, sweets.

waiting for my dang 15% off discount code from wetseal so i can get gdawg's gift.. AND my boots.. and a belt. geez louise! ;P it sure is taking awhile. well, they said i'd get a code before the 25th so.. i guess i can wait another 5 days.. considering that none of my basket is "special sale".. and ALSO considering that HER birthday isn't until late march also. yeeeayuh, i'm on a roll :)

aaand.. i have bryant's gift (got it last friday but he didn't LOVE it.. he liked it but i could tell.. so i sent it back and exchanged it). i guess since he already knows what it is, i can tell you guys ;P it's actually a.. dundundun.. ROBE! so he won't steal mine. did i already announce that? i forget. and i think i know what i'm gonna do for valentine's day.. but that's still a ways away. i don't know why i keep thinking so far ahead of time :\ i guess i should be figuring out what to do for our 15months since we BOTH don't have money to go out (go figure). 

AAHH! our 15monthiversary is 1/24, his bday is 2/5, vday is 2/14.. then less than 2 weeks after that is our 16monthiversary. way too close together :(

oh! i was bored today so i bugged bryant to go out somewhere.. really i wanted to go to longs drugs but he's been wanting to get a tie and NORDSTROMS is also on state street (though it's a couple blocks away.. but.. we need the exercise) so that was my excuse :) tehees. he got a tie.. it was $100 but it ended up being around $50.. which is good! then we went into EXPRESS and i tried some stuff on but wasn't in love with it. 

headed over to ALDO'S and i bought some red flats! i REALLY liked the brown pair too.. but.. at $40/ea.. eh. if i don't like the jc penney ones i ordered, then i'll get the brown ones. or black. hmm.. either way.. cute! :) i'll go get some in feb maybe when i get my loan check, haha. man i wish my birthday was closer to now.. i'd def bug bryant to buy me another pair ;P harhar. 

i really liked this champagne sort of color.. but it looked sort of weird on my feet.. 'cause for some ODD reason, my feet are actually tanned! wtheck? or maybe my feet are just a weird color. either way.. COLOR = bueno, ON MY FEET = no bueno. so sad! would've been a nice metallic shoe too, could've checked it off my list!

black is always cute :) 

seeeee.. the brown has a really nice metallic sheen to it.. i'd definitely be stuck between getting the brown and the black if i had to choose between the two! but uh.. if i returned the jcpenney shoes, i'd definitely think about asking my parents to pay for my second pair. MAYBE. then again, my loan check will be here... or.. i could chance it and wait for them to go on sale.... hmm.. 

and here's my lovely lovely pair of red hootttt flats that i bought! it'll be nice to throw in some color into my outfits, though i definitely don't think they'll be seeing as much sun as say, the black or the brown ones. but! still! must not self-doubt myself into returning them without throwing on some potential outfits w/ them! the thing that sort of sucks about it is 'cause my feet are HALF SIZE.. and they only carry 38 (8) and 39 (9). boo! make a 38.5 dammit! 

i freakin fell in love with these shoes though, i hope they make my feet happy. they had some REALLY soft ones that i almost thought bout getting.. but the front end was way too round and made me look like i had club feet :| super lame!

then after pondering between brown and red shoes (hahaha my indecision made bryant say "ohh my god!" tehees) we were off to longs~ refilled my SOFTLIPS in cherry 'cause i just found out today that i'm near the bottom, eeks! disaster adverted! :) and bought one lipstick (RIMMEL airy fairy).. and one blush (NYC peachy) and one bronzer (NYC mocha). sweet! 

just waiting for cherryculture to refill their stocks of NYX round lipstick AHEMMM and i'm all set for makeup for the year. damn, does anyone know when they're gonna refill? i've been checking everyday for bout a week now :( i guess i'm just being impatient.

AN ENTIRE YEAR, YA HEAR? purely skin care after that, IF i get it (more like a trip to the dermatologist!!). well, maybe a good eyeliner (gel? any suggestions?) or maybe i'll keep using my wetn'wild one IF I CAN FIND A BETTER MAKEUP REMOVER THAN MANDOM. becausseeee.. mandom sucks w/ wetn'wild! there's just something in that liquid liner that.. does not want to come off my skin. i dunno. so it makes the inexperienced me have lots of trouble since i don't line perfectly at all. plus, blahblahblah~ 

class was canceled today :) so it was pretty chill. might've been the reason why i was so bored. i guess i could've cleaned but i just really.. don't want to do dishes. there's SO MANY TO DO, holy crap. we cook once (steak, mashed potatoes) and suddenly.. WHABAM! no more bowls, no more plates, no more anything! i don't know what happened. if we had a dish washer, i wouldn't have to do dishes as often 'cause one of the guys would definitely stick it into the dishwasher.. 

i'm.. just busy.. with no sense of motivation. i finished 3 assignments on one day due to lack of ideas/etc.. and it was mostly because bryant kept pushing me to. i guess i'm not the only one who kicks butt around here if i have to ;P so babe.. if you ever read this.. thank you! <3

oh! and the pinkberry up here is open! i don't know for how long but.. OMG. PINKBERRY! i wanted to gooooo.. but.. bryant wouldn't let me :\ plus he doesn't really like it either. but he DID get me a cinnamon sugar pretzel :) which was equally awesome, says my stomach. and probably better, since pinkberry is cold.... hm.. so i don't know he was thinking that but.. thanks honey! :)

um.. so.. i really should be packing.. and/or cleaning up, since that's what i told bryant i'd be doing instead of going with him.. AND since we're leaving tomorrow (morning?) down to yorba linda again. but i checked my e-mail one more time and katie commented and asked me to find her a hawt dress for new year's.. so that got me back into window shopping. before this i was writing letters but then i got distracted 'cause i keep thinking i hear bryant coming back (he's over at jeff's.. playing guitar hero.. then he's supposed to bring it all back here. that probably means i have to help him unload.. urgh). but he said he'd bring me hot chocolate :) so he's forgiven. dude, 7-11 hot chocolate is deliciouuussss. and apparently it's "7-eleven" when you search.. otherwise it gives you buildings with the street address 711. and i thought the rule was everything underneath 100 was supposed to be typed out, not everything under 10. or should i say ten.. harhar :P so then it'd make it seven-eleven. bitches ;P

i'm so easily bribed when it comes to the boyfriend :( poo.. amazing that even when we live together, we still don't get that irritated with each other just 'cause there's "too much". if anything, this is perfect. i hated running back to my old apartment to take a shower.. i basically lived at his place anyways :) as you all know.. 

the ONE spot i HATE missing while shaving.. i mean.. besides the random patches on your leg or arm or whatever (i can't stand arm hair.. i'm so OCD.. if the hair is messed up or facing the wrong way.. and the static! ugh!).. is my PITS. i can't STAND it when i forget to shave my pits. i also don't shave with shaving cream because the ONE time i shaved with shaving cream.. i shaved off my skin too. LOL. no joke, a serious amount of skin off my shin. had to use a HUGE bandage to cover it and my coach asked me if i was OK to run around and play, it looked like i'd gotten stitches or something. and yes, the scar is still there. good lord, that was a biiiitch.. so even though i got a WAAAYYY smoother shave with s.cream... i'm afraid now :( 

and why can boys be hairy and girls can't? i can't STANNDD watching movies or tv shows where guys have a hairy chest. i mean, ew? i might as well be cuddling with a heated carpet! i guess that's why i liked asians so much.. HAIRLESS, MAN! LOL. almost embarrassingly less hairy than their female counterpart. unless you're my mom. she's hairless. wtf? why did that heavenly trait not pass down to me?? :( bleh. the boyfriend has a FEW chest hairs.. just a few. i'm always tempted to pluck them the FK out. but i'm sure he'd get pissed at me.. tehee :) so i resist the urge. 

oh oh. this is REALLY entertaining. my boyfriend is quite.. entertaining. SO. our heater is a ghetto gas one.. and it mostly pumps hot air into the FRONT room.. where we're NOT most of the time. so how did my boyfriend remedy this?

and this is the backside of the vent.. the one that leads into the hallway and supposedly into our bedrooms. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. so how does he fix THAT? 
he puts ANOTHER fan there.. to blow the hot air that's being blown back IN to the heater through the BACK vent.. now being blown into OUR room. 

and i have to say.. it works quite well. as much as i'd like to discredit him and tell him that he's just weird.. it does work. hmph.

SO! all (or most) of the hard stuff is finally over and done with. *HUGE EXHALE*

yesterday was an odd day.. i was really moody all day. bryant was having a bad day too (people being mean on the photo'g forums) and.. i dunno. just moody. slept a LOT. bryant wanted to go out--surprise, surprise. but i was way too tired and he didn't try to wake me up either! so i got up around 9:30.. sushi place was closed.. chipotle was closing (by the time we were ready).. so we got taco bell.. and.. i got #6 (chalupas?) and.. MAN. those things did NOT sit well with my stomach!! i don't know what was in there.. what happened.. but i got pretty nauseous. on top of that i felt pretty dehydrated.. and had a headache.. AND was tired. went to the gas station by our old apt to get water (all the ones around us were closed).. got back.. felt more nauseous.. watched an episode of LIFE (tv show).. and bryant was falling asleep.. and i dunno. i just got really upset and started tearing up. we ended up having a talk and everything's good now at least :) 

woke up this morning.. tired as HEELLLLL.. yea, for waking up at 9:40am hahha. i'm such a sleeper. anywho.. showered.. forgot if we had our portfolio review at 10:30 or 11:30.. jetted over to mason (campus) and found out it was 11:30. went to go get coffeebean and the one we usually went to was CLOSED :( as in they were no longer there. that took awhile 'cause i was tottering around, still feeling pretty miserable (cold, tired, nauseous, nervous) and we went back to campus to wait.. had our review.. it wasn't nearly as bad as i thought. 2/3 judges were really nice/polite with their tone but ONE.. man. he really rubbed me the wrong way. he sped talked through all of this criticism and didn't even try to think or understand my conceptual shots.. just said "i don't like them". didn't look at the portfolio as a whole (which is what it is--don't get me wrong, i know they're supposed to be strong images on their own) and just.. AH! :( the other two judges gave me some really good input.. i mean.. not to say that the other one didn't.. just.. the way they said it, made me want to listen more, y'know? ah whatever, that's just life and that's just my opinion.

went to pick up stix, got food (yum!!).. relaxed a little.. went back to mason to have our "group review" (whole class talks, etc).. got a B- on my portfolio and an A- on my promo. and a B- on my final.. so.. eh. not too bad i guess. i don't like B-'s 'cause they're too close to C's for my taste but at least i passed. skipped our finance class 'cause we hadn't done our final project (gonna e-mail it to her--supposed to email it--tomorrow and say we're on a plane to TX.. yea.. we're bad). hope we pass that class but who knows. i'd feel bad if i had to repeat it but i'd feel bad (but relieved) that i passed. so who knows!

it's fatty!! but it feels nice at least.. i hope it doesn't get too scratched in my purse. not that i have many sharp objects..? i dunno. fat fat fat. but i took out my checkbook (fatty white thing on the right--that's what she said!! OOO) only carrying one spare check because.. in all honesty.. who carries checks??

the old wallet that i got from mervyn's.. i think i got cathy wong a similar one.. except the inside of hers was magenta pink. and the outside might've been white. i forget now, it's been awhile.. 

the inside.. very girly and weird for me. i liked it at the time, thought it was artsy and different. the thing i liked MOST about it was because it was so skinny!! i had a guys' wallet for awhile but decided that i HATED folding my bills.. and this was my upgrade. then i got cards.. and.. then it got fat(ish). still nowhere near as fatty as the new one. 

my ELF bronzers and blush.. got two tones of bronzer (had a code to get one free).. and one shade of blush.

semi-blended in.. i think they're actually kinda nice :) sort of wish the blush was more pigmented.. but.. hah! me, using blush? 

recently used the darker shade as a contour + blush on apples + lighter bronzer on forehead + nose.. on HALF my face.. walked over to the boyfriend (in the same room, hahah) and asked which side he liked better. he liked the contoured side. so.. go me? did i do it right? i dunno. i also forgot to take pics and i'm a lazy mofo right now.. sleep deprived! didn't get my 10-11 hours + possible nap. LOL. i sleep like i'm depressed! 

bleh! bryant's friends showed up and i just started cleaning like MAD. no fair warning, i tell you! no fair warning!

the ungifted presents. boo :( and fyi the white present was wrapped in computer paper. i am THAT ghetto. well, i made it a little more difficult to open :) tehee. the BF opened up his present already, on account of him getting his new cam (he bought THAT himself, thank goodness. me, buying a canon 5d mkii??).. plus he was soooo cute. i couldn't resist.

btw-- i LOVE wrapping presents. i HATE using bags! i dunno why. just something about being precise.. and being able to be ANNOYING AS HELL with the inner wrappings but still being able to make it look pretty? yess :) love! don't they look all pretty? i think so. bought the wrapping paper at staples, if you're wondering. 

the COLD WEATHER outfit.. minus the jacket. wearing makeup shown below. i look FLAT here :( wtf? i mean.. i know i'm asian.. but still. at least i don't look chubs :) even though i am. i think i'm a HUGE secret-chubber. i may have built up stomach muscles just from how much i suck in my stomach. you better believe it! definitely starting up crunches again though.. helped a little :) and blahblah..

'cause.. 5-6 hours later, the colors are pretty faded. didn't help that i was rubbing my eyes to get the sleepiness out during that damn 100 question test. well. rubbed once then remembered i had eyeshadow on and thought, "damn!". matched my clothes too--whoo. go me. 

MY BB CREAM (mushroom) IS ON THE WAY! sweeet :) thanks phyllis! sort of sad that i won't be here to get it--DARN leaving for christmas!.. but as long as it doesn't get sent back (or stolen!!), i'll be okay. 

on other news.. i freaking love KIMCHI. i do. it's amazing, especially when you're hungry and there's not much to eat.. plus.. it just tastes good. and deters the boyfriend LOL! just kidding.. i mean.. he doesn't like it but it's not a plus :(
