trip to MAC!

woohooo :P finally got out of the house for a change!

those of you who follow me on twitter know that i've been a bit stressed lately :(

short story, bf's been sick since monday and i had this huge neck nerve-tweek-what-have-you also from monday.

long story, the bf and i went back home for the weekend and i felt a little sick (well, more like my stomach hurt and my head was killing me) so we didn't leave to come back to SB on sunday 'cause the bf was too tired to drive.. yaddayadda.. came back monday, played tennis, i tweeked a nerve in my neck, bf started feeling TERRIBLE. next day fever, coughing, body aches, etc.. took him to the ER.. waited for 3 hours from when we came in to when we left (eesh! i was falling asleep, and the bf actually DID fall asleep on the cot/table/whatnot hahaha) and he was diagnosed with the FLU! so i've been playing hovercraft (aka mother hen, aka worrywort, aka whatever you want to call it) and taking care of him. QUITE exhausting.

i was debating if i wanted to leave him at home OR if i was feeling too mother-hen-ish to leave him alone but bf was feeling temporarily OK today so he accompanied me :) i'm at the BOTTOM of my kevin beautymaker aqua eyes concealer. BOTTOM! like, 1-2 days left. and i refuse to step out of the house without concealer unless it's really late at night OR i'm going to go play tennis or something. SOOO.. i went to MAC! yayy.. plus.. what i've heard about the exfoliator and the mask that came out with the STYLE BLACK collection.. i wanted to get my hands on it.. so off we went~

SA's are super nice there, not pushy at all, didn't think i was shoplifting (grrrr, still mad at that dumbass BIATCH!). thankfully i had the bf with me.. i was eyeing the cremedazzle glasses.. especially AMOROUS.. that color looks bombbbb! (but who am i kidding, when do i ever wear red lips??) so he pulled me away, hahaha. PLUS i forgot my B2M containers so that was probably also a good thing (;

the store is actually.. i don't think many people go there (but then again, what do i know). they still have stuff from the ROSE ROMANCE, STYLE WARRIOR, NAKED HONEY, etc collections (ESPECIALLY the beauty powders)! probably more but i forgot the rest of the stuff. a couple months after the HK stuff came out, they still had a few items (but now obviously it's gone, probably just to save space). soooo if anyone's interested, i can look around for you (;

BUT!! as unpopular (i assume--at least compared to other locations? i dunno, i'm not a MAC aficionado) as that store is.. THEY RAN OUT OF THE MASK!! nnoooooo!! they have TONS of the exfoliator but NO MASK!! i was so saddd :( if they have a mask at a MAC near you~ pleeease contact me! *puppy dog eyes* THOUGH i just smelled it and it smells insanely like tea tree oil. but if it works as well as i've been hearing it does, it's totally worth it xD

i was def eyeing the lighter of the two beauty powders from the naked honey collection.. but maybe next time.. it feels soooooo smooth and soft! AND it's really pretty too haha. so glad they have it. i must've picked it up and swatched it and looked at it like.. 3-4 times.. even the SA noticed.. but didn't push me or try to convince me to get it when i said i would just come back later.

walked out with:

- EXFOLIATOR

- sample of the mask~ (SA was really nice!)

also went to BLENDER'S (smoothie place) since that was the condition-- bf would go with me to MAC *if* he got a shake, hahaha. and i got my regular "red pineapple" ^___^ yum~ way better than a tropical banana IMO.

i was gonna add more stuff to this post but i def' have some stuff to attend to. take care of yourselves ladies!! don't get sick! i won't be there to take care of ya'll :P
