everyone and their momma has done this tag and i'm just getting to it.. haha! so i don't need to repost the rules 'cause all of you have done this, right? right.

1. i just got into this makeup thang maybe about a year ago.. maybe a little longer. my collection has BOOMED! i went from refusing to wear blush to SOMETIMES using ONE really old one that i borrowed from my mom.. to now, where i have 7! i'm thinking of doing an updated makeup stash post sometime in the next few weeks.

2. i absolutely despise (with all of my heart) scary movies, scary documentaries, etc. i blame my vivid imagination. i watch it, i'm freaked out.. then i'm scared forever after. i saw the ring YEARS ago and i'm STILL creeped out. 

3. if i had enough money, i would definitely get my tubes tied. i do NOT want to have children, kids, offspring, do not want to fulfill my social obligation etc. and thankfully, neither does the boyfriend. i've told my parents several times and my mom was sad because she really wanted the whole "child of my daughter" connection. SORRY MOM! (i know you're reading this).  i don't know what to do with myself when i'm around kids and i'm afraid i'll birth some demon spoiled child and that i'll be one of "those moms". i don't know! just too much to think about. plus i'd much rather pack my bags and go on vaca than spend it on their tuition or cars or makeup or whatever else they want. i WILL, however, be a terrific god mother :) and let my friends deal with their kids after i've spoiled them to hell. HEHEH. 

4. i don't like large chunks of gum, like bubblicious or whatever it's called. one time i accidentally swallowed a piece and even now, i can feel that huge piece of gunk going down my throat (vivid imagination i tell you!). they have awesome flavor but when it starts to run out of flavor, i sort of freak out and have to throw it away within the next minute. smaller pieces of gum, i can keep in my mouth until i can find a trashcan but bubblicious MUST get OUT of my mouth. 

5. i vary between having a really LONG attention span and a really SHORT one. some days i'll start one thing, move on to the next, move on to the next, move on to the next, etc.. and other days, i can sit for HOURS and do ONE thing. if i want to (and i have before), i'll go through one blogger's posts.. from DAY ONE, first post and comment on all of the entries i can listen to a certain artist (or mostly just one song) for days on end. i can bake 300 cookies in one standing. when i used to draw, i could spend HOURS on one drawing--mostly because i am completely ocd and need to have everything perfect.

6. i'm so typically asian in some ways and so NOT asian in others. i can use chopsticks better than a fork; i just recently (in the past few years) learned how to "properly" use a knife+fork together; i play the violin (not often), piano and tennis; i am VERY sarcastic/joking (vs the "proper" mild meek asian woman); i sort of shrink when i hear a high pitched voice; I DO NOT CARE FOR HELLO KITTY!! (sorry girls!) but i DO like badtzmaru, pandas, etc; i do not have the ideal asian figure (small, petite). 

7. i've been confused for SOOO many different nationalities. people rarely guess japanese first. i've been mistaken for being korean BY koreans, chinese (because every asian and their momma is chinese, right?), filipino, mexican, hawaiian (i think it was just because i was wearing a bikini with palm trees on it), etc. 

8. my dad can't retire because he still has to pay for my schooling (he's 60+ YO). i feel really terrible and really grateful at the same time. my brother is 7 years older than i am and is also going BACK into school to become an RN.. and since he's so old (but healthy! plays tennis 1-2 times a week and has a very labor intensive job), i'm worried that if i don't get married soon, he won't be there to walk me down the aisle. no, i don't normally think about that but it does worry me.. and.. actually, that realization just hit me now. SIGH. honest scrap indeed.

9. my dreams hardly ever make sense. and even if they do, the entire topic of my dream is really far off from what actually makes sense for me to dream about. last night i dreamt about a couple (guy+girl) and the guy aged super fast (in every "scene", he aged 5-7 years).. and the entire dream revolved around bath tubs. like, they really liked taking baths together. and something about her dorm room and not having chairs and it not mattering because the bath tub was big enough.. i don't know. and that dream "made sense". one of my NONSENSE dreams involved ralphie from simpsons, mazes, male and female monsters, making choices and riding on some vehicle through the clouds and.. something else. i forget.

10. i take a really long time when i'm buying something makeup related. with clothes, i can try it on, like it, then buy it and head out. when i'm buying makeup, i swatch, look at it, walk around, etc.. it takes me forever. i think my subconscious knows i shouldn't be getting more makeup so even if i really want it, i have to come up with lots of reasons to get it before i actually get it. it doesn't help that i don't have much money either :P i'm sure if i had more money saved up, it would much easier to spend.
