old clothes

it's hard to realize when you have "too many" clothes..

i just realized it today (well, i suppose before today). i was hanging up all of my clothes (i hate folding) into my closet--which is HALVED because bryant needs to hang up all of his dress shirts (and polos), jackets, suits, etc. i'm not complaining--much ;P hahha. and plus the bureau we have.. bryant takes up more than half of it with his stuff (i think he has 6 of 9 drawers).. so there's not much room to put folded clothes either.

what i mean by clothes: ALL sorts of things. tshirts, even some jackets i'm debating on giving away, etc. not jeans though ;P 

either way, i had a really hard time moving clothes to the side to make space for a new one that i was hanging up, or just to look through the ones that i had hanging up. and a hard time stuffing clothes into the bureau too. 

DILEMMA! what to do, what to do? 

i was thinking maybe i should hit up buffalo exchange and see if i can make some money off my clothes.. i mean, they're nothing all that great but still. it'd be nice to get rid of some clothes and then make some money. 

have you guys had any experience with it? selling, i mean. 

i've bought a pair of jeans there for $10ish and they're pretty amazing in that fact. most of the clothes are more "vintage" or "weird".. not TOO many normal clothes.. then again i went to the one in costa mesa. apparently the one near newport (or some other beach) is better? hmm. plus i want to get rid of my old dance dresses (unless you want 'em, cuzz hahaha).. 'cause.. i'm never going to wear them. they're way too flashy/etc for what i wear now or where i'd wear them to.

ANOTHER DILEMMA!

it's hard for me to look through the clothes and say, "i'm definitely not going to wear THAT again.." and there's some clothes that just don't look good on me.. even some NEW clothes that i haven't even worn all that much! it's a hard realization. but i really should get rid of some of this stuff.. just need to put my foot down on my "pack rat" instincts. 

the other option is just to give it away to good will or etc.. but with me scrounging for money to get birthday presents, pay rent, etc.. i think buffalo exchange would be best. hmm.. 

anyone wanna go with me? seriously.. that would help kick me in the butt and get me going. sucks is that there's no B/Ex in santa barbara (go figure).. so i gotta figure out when i'm gonna go back down to yorba/LA then figure it out from there. 

or my other option is something like eBay.. but since most of my clothes aren't name-brand, it'd be harder to sell there too. hmm.. 

i hereby dub this.. winter cleaning! haha ;P
