groceries

so, ze boyfren and i went grocery shopping yday.. we were just supposed to get onions and bellpeppers but decided to go get other stuff while we were there. BUT! for once, it wasn't junk food and stuff that could run out soon.. even though.. it did end up costing $110 (but we split the cost). 

got:

- sandwich stuff (oven-baked sandwich; lunchmeat, provolone bread)

- breakfast burrito stuff (tortillas, sausage, velveeta; minus the eggs--we forgot)

- stuff for salad (lettuce, dressing)

- HEALTHY snacks (baby carrots--dip)

- cooking stuff (bell peppers, onions, garlic, two types of hoishin sauce)

- ricearoni + sausage

- 1box of 100 calorie pack: chocolate chip cookies

- milk, cereal (of course we go through cereal like crazy)

- chips & guacamole (to refrain from going to chipotle)

- tofu! :D for me. bryant won't touch it.

- 2 hamburger helper boxes

- "au gratin" potato box

health...ier. and should last longer. trying to save money.. doesn't help that birthdays are coming up! most of all (sorry girls) is bryant's. hm. i got him a.. SHH.. i don't know if he'll spy on my blog. so i must wait. but i do have a package coming on friday :) yay for fast shipping!

been eyeing cherryculture's NYX round lipstick collection (i forget how many).. and 2 NYX lipglosses too. total w/ estimated tax and s&h would end up being $32.50! bleh! LS are $1.50/ea and LG are $4/ea.. sucks. i would just get 1-2 but apparently their swatches online SUCK so i dunno.. looked at swatches from other people but i dunno if it's show up the same on me and blahblah.

also was looking at meetmark and figured my basket there would've been $27 (w/ free shipping), which was for way less stuff than cherryculture so i figure, if i'm going to get anything, i'd cut back on CC and just get that. 

then, you know, there's the rest of my wishlists posted on the wall. i guess i need to redo those w/ prices. give me a reality check. 

so i've just been window shopping online. it really kind of sucks, but it's better for me that i practice some sort of restraint. new year's resolution, dammit! and i make a basket.. then write down the stuff i want PLUS total on a postit, stick it up on my "wishlist" wall.. and.. look at the postits and sigh. hahaha i sound so pathetic~ :P 

but at the end of the day, i don't need more makeup. i might need more skincare to make sure the makeup looks good on me (good skin = better makeup canvas). 

i AM, however, getting these brown boots (click)--i think. my rebate from buying CF cards? i have JUST enough to buy the robe PLUS those boots w/ 15% off.. literally.. with less than $1 left on the card. hahha! cutting it so close. wetseal had a deal (harhar, rhymes!) if you add them on myspace, they'll send you a code w/ 15% off.. so.. i'm waiting. and waiting. and i check myspace everyday even though i'd get an email notification..
