lu-ee-zee-an-uh

so.. yes. i have really bad memory. want to know why? because i've already completely forgotten what i did the day after christmas. i want to say that leah (the adorable 4 year old) and her fam came over for like.. 10 minutes.. while bryant, gina (his mom), amanda (sister) and i were playing rummikub.. but that was at night.. and before AND after that, i don't remember what we did. what the heck? i know, right? :(

OH! i remember. we went on the grandparents' (wally--how funny, i know right?--and gayle) boat.. fits 9 i think. went around the lake.. it's HUGEEE. i bet i could find it on a map :) hahaha. i forget what the lake's called. ah. apparently it's called "sibley lake". anyway.. took lots of pics. it was pretty amazingly beautiful :) first real boat ride! (besides riding around DISNEY SEA in japan).

oh.. oh. okay. so i don't remember what else we did besides that. oh. bryant and i went to the store.. well.. gas station.. to get feminine products. we took bill's car (dad) and we passed him (he was running--he's gonna run some.. 26.2? marathon) on the road and he asked where we were going and bryant said "to get female produc--" and bill shook his head and left. LOL. i find it funny. maybe i'm just a vulgar person for blogging about this kind of stuff.




TODAY.. we.. hm.

woke up around noon.. and.. gayle took us (bryant and i) for a drive down to downtown natchitoches. because.. apparently.. natchitoches's claim to fame is that it's the oldest settlement in the entirety of the lu-ee-zee-an-uh purchase. really nice houses actually.. with two sets of doors.. from slavery times (one door for the "master" and the other door for the slaves). plantations and all of that. didn't get any pictures from the actual plantation impressive houses 'cause i kept on looking and forgetting that i had a camera.. but.. eh. it was cool anyways. i'll take pictures next time if i come back here hahah. went into an oooold hardware store.. got my mom coffee.. my dad a steak brander (think: cow brand) with the letter S (they ran out of W's).. LOL. and got a tin of key lime cookies 'cause it had the store name on the can... figured my mom would appreciate it. store's been up since 1862! crazy. went to go walk down the main street but it started raining and we had our cameras.. so.. boo. drove around, took some pics.. came back..

then the family went to go to the movies (to see either that dog movie or that benjamin movie.. LOL. i forget names, yes.. that much is apparent. and why the eff do i keep using "LOL"?) and bryant and i were kinda tired.. so we stayed.. started POURING so we took pics. bryant kept playing with the cat (so cuteee). i took a shower 'cause my allergies kept acting up (got super itchy! bleh). family came back.. we went to leah's house.. it's super nice. the boy (lyle) has a TV up on his wall.. he has super cool looking chairs.. has a bed, then a loft looking thing that can fit another bed for when he has a friend over. JEEZ. then the house itself was cool.. i think i already said that. ate some pizza.. had peppermint icecream with fudge sauce.. YUM. leah showed us around the house.. she's so cute. got a hug and a kiss from her when we left.

got back.. messed around with the puzzle (two tigers drinking water.. i'll take a pic before we left. it's haaaaard!). decided to play "OH HELL" (card game).. was interesting but very long. adults (and bryant) got their drunk on. got interesting.. then got really tired and somewhat irritating. i tried staying at 100 but i failed :( boo. think of.. an intense WAR.. with lots of people.. and slightly more strategy. but only slightly. then people dispersed and.. am getting tired..

leaving for houston around noon.. gotta get there at least 4pm so we can get ready and go see the transiberian orchestra! sweeeet :) looking forward to it. figured i'd blog (another boring one w/o pics) before i forgot what i did.

ah yes but i did read two books lately :) "a stolen past" and "girl with the red scarf".. or something. both are pretty good. still need to borrow someone's "twilight" books! or else i'll never read them :) hahha.

miss you girls! i called home on christmas.. but.. don't have the rest of your numbers.. plus.. it's with bryant's phone, haha. ugh. BLOG!! or something :) let me know how your breaks are going! hopefully i'll get some pics up tomorrow.
