103. exired

last day of photo class! during our "final 10" crit. jordyn, the one in the yellow, is leaving for texas.. :(  this pic is on facebook, larger.

well, i finished up my photo class. almost. have to turn in a CD of all of my images. other than that.. yup. SUCCESS at crit! the one guy i admire (his work is AMAZING) told me he really likes how i design my sets/shots. and out of a scale of 0-5, someone else told me he gave me a 5 for one of my images. sweet. plus i got an A (4 images), A (4 images), A (1 image), B (1 image)! 

i feel happy~ i feel happy~ (monty python scene of "bring out yer dead!"). 

so, i went to sleep around 4am (was printing/mounting.. and had to run out to CVS in goleta to get more double sided tape! lame). woke up at 7am.. showered.. ate.. got coffee *heart* then headed to 3 hours of class. went around the room to look at everyone's images and graded them on a scale of 0-4 on four sections. was separating everyone's papers to who they were grading, then heather and jordyn joined me and so we sorted the entire class. me and being bored and.. yea. it started with me organizing bryant and my papers.. then brianna joined in.. and so did jordyn and heather.. and.. yea. lunch time came, gave a sad hug to jordyn, who was leaving :( went to go eat lunch at chipotle (i'm reaching my "i'll eat it only because you really want to and only because we don't have that much time" point with chipotle.. it tastes good but not nearly or anywhere near as good as it used to) then headed back to class again. sat there for another 1.5 hours.. and went home. ended up with a B in the class :) yay. that's good enough for me. 

i got my american apparel dress! it's very different for me.. but i really like it. it's a dress that i can see ALL of us wearing and looking good in. plus my macy's shirt came in the other day too :) happy! waiting on my victoria's secret sweater (processing the exchange).. threadless shirts (9/3).. 4gb compact flash (shipped? no idea where it is).. and twin armada sweater (processing, day 6). PLUS my LaCie portable external hard drive came back today (i sent it out to get it fixed) and they said "your lacie drive was fixed under warranty" but they just gave me a new one. i got upgraded from 100gb to 250gb for FREE. plus it's cooler :D it's all black and shiny.. and it has a built in USB cable that extends out.. yes. awesome. 

50 minutes of class tomorrow.. 8min presentation per group (5 groups). lame. no idea what we're talking about.. i mean.. i do know generally, but we haven't come up with a plan. we didn't really ask our other 2 group members. been sort of busy :\ but.. oh well. as long as i pass the class, i don't really care. tired of class, tired of school. i need a break :(

guy: "are you excited for break week?!"

me: "i'm..... tired."

guy: "yea.. that's the brooks way. we don't get excited, we get tired."

me: "haha, bryant.. this guy summed up brooks."

bryant: "what?"

me: "he said.. we don't get exired.. extired...... -__- nevermind."
