025. yet another update

so so so. today i saw that 475/475 apartment.. and LOVED it. well. the room was alright. the girls were GREAT though. and guess what! i found out that they also have a SINGLE room available for 675/month. freaking awesome. apparently one of the other girls has a dog there sometimes (golden retriever!!) that's a "part time dog".. when she misses it she brings it back up to SB (her parents live in OC somewhere). they have a small backyard that they don't really ever go in.. the kitchen looked nice.. seemed like it was one bathroom but.. eh. i can deal with that. they really LOVE icecream.. sex in the city.. and pizza. really easy to get along with, the whole time we were basically laughing or smiling in some way or the other.. and.. they said they were interviewing a few more girls but would let me know by sunday.. man.. i really hope i get this one. HOPEfully the single room, the shared one was really small and.. yes. not a big fan.

i was also supposed to go see another one today after class but i just wanted to go HOME and SHOWER 'cause it's so grossly hot up here. even by the ocean. AC was on 3 (out of 4) and if you noticed at all, i never have it above 1 (most of the time). so.. oops. whatever to that. it was 700/month, didn't see the deposit amount. large single room with a balcony. sounded pretty awesome but.. yea. since i didn't go see it.. i'm just betting all of my money on the first one.

oh. well. i did go see another one. it was a room in a house, and it was further away than bryant's apartment (his is near the freeway, the house is about 5 min away or something). the house was nice, the neighborhood was super nice. the lady was nice.. her husband was awesome. he does these oil paintings that he shows off at the local art show thing that happens every saturday and.. man. so good! he seemed pretty interested in the fact that i went to brooks. and they have a 15 year old daughter or something, but she wasn't there. and the room was originally their older daughter's but she goes to college down in LA, and i keep forgetting the name of the college.. anyway.. yea. it was nice, something like 700/month + 200 deposit. fully furnished, only wants the renter to bring their own sheets. house is super awesome too. they have a piano there! the husband is retired, and the wife works.. and the daughter goes to school.. and.. yea. they have two dogs, didn't get to see them for very long 'cause the lady took them away 'cause they were barking, etc. small ones. pretty nice set up. the lady kept telling me that she used to charge $750 since it's fully furnished and all but now she charges $700. kept asking me if i wanted to stay, if i was going to take the place. she had other people lined up and i told her that i wouldn't have any idea until sunday so if she had to give the room away, that it was okay. for the price, i'd much rather have a place closer to town.. and i don't need to stay with another family outside of my own, yea? i don't know, i just imagine it to be sort of awkward.

huh. bryant and i went to vons two days ago and bought 2 1-gallon things of arizona green tea. and i told him to drink out of one and for me to drink out of the other to see who drinks more. of course i knew that he was going to drink more.. but i wanted to see how much more. he drank his whole thing in 48 hours (less than) and i still have about 1/2 left. somewhere between 1/2 and 1/3. crazy huh. maybe i need to hydrate myself more. then i'd have to pee more. hmm.. i guess hydration is more important. just have to get over being lazy. 

a bunch of koreans just came over. alex is having a BBQ here. awesome. krn bbq ftw :D (for the win). i need to stop using gamer talk D: <--unhappy face.

oh! my parents got me a stand up mixer. one of those things that you see on the food network. mixes things for you! you just set it and it goes. how fun :D that means that i can make like.. tons of cookies. tons! yea! hahaha. oh! and even better! i think i can get new lenses. maybe. we got a new loan credit thing so.. yea. better focus. and. better aperture!! :D 

how's that research paper thing going, stace? have any questions? or is it done already.
