what WHAT?

so you'll never guess who i saw today! i don't even really believe it myself ;) fellow blogger BBYKT! aka.. katie.. aka my best friend from high school (soph/junior year). what whaaaat.. she disappeared from my life as soon as she graduated from high school :| poo to her!! but.. i randomly texted her around 2am last night.. aaand.. she replied.. aaaaaand.. we were both in town so we had a reunion! :) 

we unfortunately didn't take any pics! wth :( 

anyway.. so i showed her my measly MU collection.. then we decided to go get some peet's coffee (dark chocolate mocha freddo! yumm), went to target.. bought a dream matte powder (gonna see how it is) in BEIGE 2-2.5 ; they were out of SAND (poor katie! lol we went to target to get powder for HER). 

went to MAC at the brea mall.. bought me a PAINTERLY paintpot! tried katie's and LOVEDDD the texture (so much better than my waxy ole' thing!--though it does work). tried to get CUTESTER ls and EMOTE blush (for contour) but they didn't have either! boo.. went to nordstrom's mac counter and they didn't have those two either. 

aaaand.. we found out.. i'm a NC35-37.. LOL! i didn't think i was that dark! :\ HMM.. at least i feel all officialize-d, beauty-wise :)

wandered around the DIOR counter.. tried on a BUNCH of highshineaddict (or whatever they're called) lipsticks.. and didn't like ANY for either of us!! hahaha. maaaan.. they look so nice on you beauty bloggers too.. but i duno. our lips are just too pigmented.. and for what they are (on my lips), i might as well get a cheaper lipgloss or something :| maybe i just tried on the wrong ones? 

then we went to kat's house and bugged her for awhile while she was working.. watched some FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS videos :) teheee. i love them! then.. her bum boyfriend wanted her to go back home :(!! so she dropped me off.. i snagged her address.. so watch out girl! your birthday's coming up :) teheehee~ though i did get her a foundie+nailpolish at target.. not good enough!

went to the mac site.. and emote is DISCONTINUED?? whaaaaat? searched for dupes and found out that WEDGE e/s is the same color (but the container is so small!! arrgh) and other people have been using HARMONY and STRADA.. or a DARKER MSF. hmmmm.. katie says go with harmony, so i think i will.. plus harmony looks a hair darker than strada.. PLUS strada is out of stock, haha! my current bronzers are just so.. orange/red! bleh~

i was thinking about doing a post of my MU collection but i guess there's really no point ;P i did one awhile ago that was sort of half-assed, and my collection hasn't grown ALL that much since. plus the majority of my stuff is NYX singles, then i have 3 UD shadows, 2 sleek idivine palettes, 2 skinfood bb creams.. some crappy brushes.. and.. that's the gist of it. if anyone's interested for whatever reason, lemme know :) 

HMMM.. what else did i do today? slept around 3 or 4am 'cause i was texting w/ katie.... woke up at 6:30, went to go play tennis.. played 4 sets (woohoo!). lots of fun :) went home.. showered.. ate.. SLEEEEEPPT.. hahahaa. good thing katie's morning thing took so long :) i would've been wiped out if i hadn't gotten that nap in. 

my tulips are slowly opening up! plus the boyfriend is almost back from santa barbara! as i said, he went up for a friend's bday.. aaaand. drank a little too much so he was in no shape to drive back last night.. OR this morning at aaaaaall.. hahahaa. 4 tequila shots, 2 whisky shots plus a couple beers.. man! i would've died had i even had ONE shot!! hahaa i'm such weaksauce. s'all good though, i don't like the taste of alcohol :\ i wouldn't want to drink even if i could.

time to file my FAFSA so i can be considered for CALGRANT too.. need my monies for school!
