Five cubed cubes

not really.. more like.. just.. five cubed.. but.. then it sounds boring. so adding another word to the end made it interesting. at least i think so.

i am.. really, very tired. i had coffee today (iced cafe mocha instead of just a tea latte).. bruce (photo teacher) asked if i was feeling better :) uh.. class went ok. i went to go talk to the people that i needed to talk to.. i'm missing about $110 from my paycheck :( but candice didn't know and the woman i was supposed to talk to was gone.. so.. meh. i dropped bryant off at his math class and i went home..

forgot what i did. i somehow managed to spend about 2 hours just going online, emailing a few people, eating, and washing dishes. hmm.. oh, i did talk to blake for a little while. oh well. but yea..

bryant got out of class about an hour early so i went to go pick him up, we went to samy's and i camped out at the camera counter and stared at cameras for awhile. let me explain, bryant's trying to get me to switch to canon.. and it makes sense because he has all of his stuff and i can just use his lenses and whatnot.. and the camera body itself is cheaper than the nikon one i'm looking at by $200-300. they're both equally good, but it's just the hassle of selling my old stuff and getting new canon stuff. well, the body and one lens (about $1000?). i dunno. we'll see. i left undecided (once again, i did this once before to the same guy too! haha). i guess to be nice, i'll request him when i buy a camera (if i buy it in store) so he can get the commission. then we went to CVS 'cause bryant has a prescription for his eye stuff.. that took awhile. we got a $25 gift certificate to CVS so we bought drinks and i bought a MONSTER MEAN BEAN thing. then bryant dropped me off at class.

class went ok.. the eng teacher (james) also asked me if i was feeling better. i got an A on my prep week and an A- on my first essay (woot). no idea about my newest one and i haven't turned in my rough draft idea outline thing for this next essay. meh. he's a very interesting teacher.. he was making a point about how humans have these pre existing assumptions about things so when we hear "police officer" or "house", we have this generic picture in our heads. so to prove his point, he started drawing a house with a tree and a fence and some clouds and a sun-thing and had us say what we thought it was. and he drew a couple other things. he also drew a dot (looked like a dot) in the middle of a square and had us describe it "as if we were locked up in a turkish prison and the only way we could get out was to write a description about this dot in this square". yes. interesting.

i also think the period should go AFTER the finishing quotation mark but apparently that is not true :(

i got out 20 minutes early and bryant came to pick me up.. and.. we came home.. and i snacked on the rest of my yummy rice cracker snack thingy's and finished the bag.. and.. hm. haven't done much.

that's about the extent of my horribly exciting day. we're out of garlic salt and lemon pepper so we're going to try garlic powder, salt and pepper on chicken. hmm..

oh! i am reconnecting with a friend though :) katie tsai. we used to be attached at the hip through my sophomore and junior years.. then we lost contact when she went off to college and got herself a boyfriend to wrap herself around (yes i'm still slightly bitter). but she's been sending me messages via facebook and they're pretty long, just stories that she has to tell me to catch me up.. haha. we're still way back sometime during her first year of college (going on to her third). it'll be interesting to say the least.

scott tomono has also come back into my life (very, very slightly and VERY insignificantly, thank goodness). he messaged me on facebook for no reason.. well.. i added him just to see what he was up to, he posted on my wall, i replied.. and he just recently replied, and we've been "chitchatting". or according to dane cook, "chatchitting". anyway, beth thinks she knows him somehow (brought it up while shopping last weekend.. it was only last weekend? it feels like it's been forever already.. boooo.. i miss you girls!!) and so i sent her a couple pics of him to see if she knew him. then as i was snooping around his page, i remembered the "this person also knows these people.." thing (forgot what it's called) so i clicked on it and he knows nicole uratsu (this girl that goes to beth's church that i met when i went to visit beth in riverside around halloween last year). eek, a year ago. but.. yes. and apparently katie had a run-in with him.. well.. she hung out with him and still thinks he's an asshole, even though he somehow managed to charm her. she did get closure though.. even though i'm sure she didn't need it by now, her n her boyfriend being together for about 2 years now? i think? i forgot. anywho, i'm curious to see what my reaction is but at the same time i shouldn't even go there. still curious though. but i don't have a cat to be killed in the name of curiosity. hmm, i don't think using that phrase in such a way really works....

just thought i'd update you girls on that. him being such an important (sadly) figure in my past.

maybe i'll see him and realize that what i saw in him was just something that only an infatuated 8th grader would see and that he's just a douchebag like i've been thinking for a couple years now.

i care but i don't really know why. i guess he's the wet paint, the newly laid cement. but i've never been that type of kid to want to go touch the wet paint or to go ruin the drying cement.

i'm getting too old for this. at least he doesn't text me anymore. he did a couple times.. and.. man, i'm sorry to say but when i opened up my phone and saw "scott tomono" as the sender, my heart reverted back to 8th grade and did a flip. i think i might've said that already.

he should GDIAF and leave me alone. but i'm still curious. maybe if i see him i can find that closure, but i'm also afraid. what am i afraid of? 8th grade sarah returning? ugh :(

don't worry, just blabbing. i'm sure it won't stay on my mind for long.

i really need a nap :(
