spelled backwards is.. RANDOM! very good, kids. very good. 

today's randomness includes:

- earthquake

earthquake

yes! i felt it. apparently it was in chino, and was a 5.6? 5.4? 5 something. aftershocks can get as big as 4.2, according to the washington post. i had a sudden urge to cite that. i have no idea why. moving on. so we were sitting in class, having a demo (demonstration) for an upcoming project that i need lots of studio time for (again D: boo) when the lights started moving. and.. it shook for a good 20-30 seconds. made me kind of dizzy. the teacher was smiling and stuff, told us it was okay, to calm down.. then as soon as it finished, he yelled "RUN!!" hahaha. after we got out of class, i called back home.. my brother sounded sort of surprised that i got through (or could use my cellphone) 'cause apparently the lines were tied up. but it was a good 20-30 minutes beforehand so.. yea. just called home to make sure everything was okay. chino! that's crazy. i drive past chino every time i go to and back to santa barbara.. takes about 10 minutes.. and that's because i have to go all the way around. was there a way to drive straight there.. yea.

so, bryant was driving.. and santa barbara in summer is tourist-rama. plus i guess it's a big place for asians to go tour to, i don't know why. so there were two asian kids, around our age looking (so i guess that means they were a little older 'cause you know, asians look young..) and one just walks past but the other one seriously just staared. and basically almost stopped.. was just walking super super slow. and i thought it was really weird.. and sort of funny. he was kind of cute, so it wasn't too bad :) hahhaa.

random song humming

sooo.. this is really, really random. i was walking to wells fargo to deposit a check with bryant (he got a check from an old room mate, about 4.5 months old, for internet.. so randomly, $20 is just going to disappear from his bank account, hahaha) and i got into a spurt of good mood, hooked arms with bryant and....... started humming the wedding song. HAHAHAHHA. how random is that?! and he gave me the funniest look EVER and said that he was creeped out. i have no idea how it popped into my head. i just started humming it.. i wasn't even thinking about anything in particular. hahahaa :)

first deposit

so, yup. went into the bank and.. first deposit ever. w00t. well. first deposit by myself. i even filled out the deposit slip all by myself. well. mostly... i asked bryant "is this right??" about five times.. hahaha :) so i was all deposited.. and the teller (earlier, i couldn't remember the word for teller. i said banker.. and something else. haha, monopoly :P) was telling me about the rewards program they have if i use the credit card, blahblah, and then asked me if i was even thinking of using the credit card. mind you, it has like a.. $2000 limit.. with no overdraft fees.. and i just told him "no, i don't want to tempt myself.." and he just laughed. and i went along my merry way. 

train

OKAY! so, during one of our studio blocks with the group.. and we decided to go to 805 deli (yummy sandwich place!) and.. so.. we were driving.. and crossing the railroad tracks (seems to be lots them, at least around one particular campus) and all of the sudden we heard WWAAAAAAUHUHCHAHSDHDHHH (that was what i think train sounds translate to in writing) and we look to the left and THERE'S A TRAAAIIINNNNN!!--loading passengers. -_____- d'ooohhhhhhh!!! man, it was SO SCARY! my heart went BADUNK (my pounding heart sound translated to writing) and it seriously hurt my chest for a good minute. but, we got to the sandwich place and it was delicious :) and i forgot about the incident shortly after. 

itunes visualization

is seriously twentyseventhousandeighthundredsixtytwo times better than winamp or windows media player. seriously! and i discovered it completely on accident--i was trying to open up a new tab on safari (internet browser for mac) which is apple+t (it says command but it also has an "apple" symbol which looks nothing like an apple) but itunes was selected, so it went to this awesome visualization thing. then i opened up a browser and.. yup. am here. i'm constantly going "ooo, that's so cool!" hahaha. but it is!! seriously. go try it :) i'm not entirely sure what the PC controls are.. maybe control+t? who knows. i'm sure you can find it up under "view".. ah. it's called visualizer. OO THERE'S DIFFERENT ONES!!!! hahahha. the "jelly" one is awessommmeeee. "stix" reminds me of what stace does with taking a picture of lights at night then throwing her camera around. hahaa :)

mail box

well, there's the one where i.. get mail in from the post office. then there's a box in my room that i want to FILL with snailmail/cards/etc. i think it'd be an awesome box. of course, i don't get mail much :\ and when i do, it's usually handed to me (ahem, cuz. hahaha! jkjk). but, it's a goal. 

funny bryant story

i fell asleep while watching MONK.. and apparently it was for a few hours because bryant said he cleaned while i was sleeping. well. he said "i'll start cleaning if you start sleeping". hahaha :) aww.. anyway.. yea. so when i woke up (i thought i'd only fallen asleep for a few minutes), i went into the bedroom.. and apparently, bryant couldn't find me. he was in the kitchen when he saw that i got up and went into the bedroom area.. so he looked in the general bathroom, no sarah. went into our bathroom, no sarah. went back into the living room, no sarah. kitchen (i have to look down to type kitchen. hah. i just beat that habit suck it!), no sarah. our bathroom, no sarah. then finally he looked on the bed.. and.. there i was. apparently i blended into the blanket (also brown). ha ha. jerk.

overall day summary

woke up later than usual.. aka 9am, and we had class at 9:30 hahaa. so no shower for me :( boo. class was okay, taking notes.. playing games, then minimizing the window when the teacher passed by (he paces alot, poop). after class, called home.. went to the bank.. then went to game stop for bryant. ate leftover pizza for lunch. watched MONK (tv show series). bryant got hungry so we went to chipotle, ate, watched more MONK. (insert bryant story). and he finished cleaning while i've been on the computer.. haha. we're cleaning.. one, because it's dirty.. and two, because our black glass group is coming over tomorrow to work on our comp book (boo).
